Loving Me

My role on this film included puppet, set, and prop fabrication as well as some animation.

Puppet Head Fabrication

Puppet Head sculpted in Chavant clay

Final head casted in plastic and painted with attachable facial features

To create varying mouth shapes, multiple heads were casted and mouths were removed with a dremel. New mouths were sculpted with epoxy putty.

A cast of the face was vacuformed over and eyebrows and pupils were cut out. Eyelids were sculpted with epoxy putty and all facial features were painted.

Final facial expressions

Puppet Injection

To achieve the purple gloves of the puppet, skin-colored silicone was painted into the mold over the skin before it was injected with glove-colored silicone.

Final Puppet

Martini glass top and base sculpted in clay, molded with silicone, and cast in plastic.

Plastic was vacuformed over the casted pieces. The pieces were attached with a thin wire and epoxy.

The martini glass was filled with museum gel and olives were made with epoxy putty.
